On the occasion of its centennial this year the National Association of Norwegian Architects (Norske arkitekters landsforbund = NAL) launches a country-wide project called the Year of Architecture, Norway's biggest ever architectural arrangement.

On Thursday 6 January the programme is launched on line and in print.

Throughout 2011 over a hundred bigger and smaller arrangements over the entire country will challenge, expand and enrich people's relationship with architecture. With everything from TV programmes, exhibitions, debates, publications, conferences and building projects on the programme, the Year of Architecture is a rich and varied opportunity to experience and learn more about the subject.

Contributors and partners are invited to the House of Architecture to celebrate the opening of this marathon NAL arrangement.
